Here the name says it all: In Bremen’s oldest quarter from the 15. and In the 16th century, the quaint, charming houses are strung together like pearls on a “Schnoor”, or “string “in High German. A must for tourists!

The 600-year-old town hall with its Weser Renaissance façade and the Roland statue from the same period are Bremen’s greatest cultural treasures. The ensemble that characterizes the market square has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004.
